Therapeutic Massage Services

At the start of each session we can discuss what areas need attention, and I can help make recommendations around various modalities. One or more of the modalities listed below can be incorporated into each session.

All bodies are different and deserve to be listened to in their authentic self.

Sessions are customized to each client's needs focused on relaxation, treatment, or a combination, including a variety of modalities listed below.

  • It is one of the most common types of massage—a technique designed to release stress and muscle tension. Rhythmic and broad sweeping strokes calm the nervous system and increase circulation.

  • It is an ancient healing method that can ease pain, increase blood flow, and help with relaxation. I also use it as a form of deep tissue work. Silicone or glass cups are placed on the skin, pulling the tissue away from the body. Mild bruises can happen from the suction and typically go away in a few days.

  • It is a soft tissue treatment that helps release tension in a hyperirritable spot within a tight band of muscle that is painful on compression or creates a referred sensation.

  • It is a somatic movement-based therapy that calms the nervous system and helps break holding patterns created in our daily lives. It is rooted in the idea that we hold tension in the mind, not the body. This work allows clients to feel a sense of weightlessness. As the mind begins to settle, the body can move freely. I use gentle, rhythmic movements while focusing on where and how your body wants to move- creating a sense of calm and deep relaxation.

  • It is a soft tissue massage where multiple techniques using applied pressure trick the body, alleviating issues in muscles, ligaments, and the nervous system.

  • It is a gentle massaging of the belly that can be used to relax and manipulate the muscles of the abdomen and surrounding structures. Great for working with the diaphragm, ribs, and the psoas.

  • I took a specialized 16-hour training and am certified to work on draped and undraped breast tissues in the state of Washington. Massage in this area of the body is beneficial for everyone. It can help with circulation in breast tissue and help with increased lymph flow. It has benefits for anyone who has undergone reconstructive surgery. It can help treat breast pain, reduce thoracic outlet syndrome, reduce adhesion, and allow for broader work in muscles that interconnect with breast tissue. I talk in-depth with clients before incorporating this modality into a session. We go over the anatomy of why a client would benefit, and clients can ask any questions that help them feel comfortable.

  • It is a more focused massage targeting specific muscles or common syndromes. I can include treatment work into a relaxation massage, creating a dynamic experience where you get both. Sessions can also be predominantly treatment-focused if you want focused work in a few key areas.

  • It is a therapy technique focused on pain from myofascial tissues (fascia) that surround your muscles and bones. This pressure releases the restriction in the connective tissue, giving you an increased range of motion and less pain.

Pricing

  • 30 Minutes | $60

Targeted treatment. This is the best choice if you are dealing with a single issue requiring focused work.

  • 60 Minutes | $95

This treatment allows me to target one or two areas where you need focused work while allowing time for less focused work on other areas. A great option for an upper body-only session.

It's similar to a 60-minute, but the extra time allows focused work in 2-3 areas. This time is also excellent for adding cupping or other modalities.
